A companion site providing tools, planners, and reference pages for Stardew Valley.
Project Background
StardewTool is being built to provide players with calculators, planners, and reference pages for Stardew Valley. Many existing fan resources carry heavy scripts or display problems on mobile devices.
Our goal is to provide a straightforward companion that loads quickly, works cleanly on phones and computers, and respects user privacy.
Data Extraction Plans
Our goal is to build reference databases and calculation tools directly from the game files rather than relying on secondary fan wikis or memory.
Game data for items, crops, fish, crafting recipes, and villagers will be extracted directly from game data files using automated extraction scripts. When updates are released, data will be regenerated from the source assets.
Architecture & Privacy
StardewTool is compiled as a static website using Astro.
- Self-Hosted Typography: Fonts (Calistoga, Podkova, and Silkscreen) are self-hosted via local packages. No external font servers or CDNs are contacted.
- Client-Side Save File Processing: For planned tools that inspect farm progress, save files will be read and processed inside your local web browser. No save files will be uploaded to our servers.
- Minimal Footprint: We do not operate user accounts, databases of personal data, or advertising tracking networks.
